Nathaniel is an accomplished triple threat and bi-coastal actor known for his exceptional performances in both musical theatre and straight plays.
He was immersed in music and theatre at a young age, beginning piano lessons in 1998 with Rufina Gorin at the Gorin School of Music. In the 10 years before graduating, Nathaniel performed in numerous recitals and concerts. Also a competitor, he succeeded in reaching and surpassing level 10 of the California Certificate of Merit, and was honored in the National Guild association.
Nathaniel moved to New York City in 2018, and has been fortunate enough to continue his theatre work with companies like The Fireside Theatre Company in Wisconsin and The Secret Theatre in Long Island City.
Q: Where did Nathaniel attend college?
A: Middlebury College (cum laude) with degrees in both Music and Theatre Performance studies. Prior to Middlebury, he also studied opera with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Q: Did you work professionally during college?
A: Yes! Nathaniel had a great time working with the Middlebury Opera Company and the Town Hall Theatre

Meet Nathaniel’s cover band, Up and to the Right. Mostly focusing on oldies from the 50s to the 70s, but covering modern music as well, the band performs all over the Bay Area. Nathaniel Rothrock is the lead male vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist.
